1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the website at czaban.dev(“Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and anyone who accesses the Site.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary, consistent with applicable EU regulations.

2. About CZ Dev

CZ Dev is a software design and engineering studio operated by Tamas Czaban and Zsombor Czaban. The Site is an informational and marketing presence used to showcase our work, describe our services, publish editorial content, and allow prospective clients to book discovery calls.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or its infrastructure.
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract content from the Site without our prior written consent.
• Submit false, misleading, or spam booking requests.
• Impersonate CZ Dev or any of its representatives.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site — including text, design, graphics, logos, code, and editorial articles — is the property of CZ Dev or its respective creators and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any Site content without our express written permission. Brief quotations with proper attribution for non-commercial purposes are permitted.

Client work displayed in our portfolio is shown with permission. All rights in that work remain with the respective clients and CZ Dev as agreed under individual project contracts.

5. Discovery Calls and Booking

Scheduling a discovery call via our Calendly link does not constitute a contract or engagement. It is an introductory conversation with no obligation on either party. Any formal engagement will be governed by a separate written agreement signed by both parties.

Booking services are provided by Calendly. By using the booking form, you also agree to Calendly’s Terms of Service.

6. Editorial Content

Articles, case studies, and other editorial content published on this Site are provided for informational purposes only. They do not constitute professional advice. CZ Dev makes no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of any published content.

7. Third-Party Links and Services

The Site may link to third-party websites (e.g., LinkedIn, GitHub, Calendly). These links are provided for convenience only. CZ Dev has no control over, and accepts no responsibility for, the content or practices of any third-party site. Accessing third-party links is at your own risk.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CZ Dev and its founders shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or its content — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim arising from use of this Site shall not exceed €100.

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Site at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when the most recent changes were made.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through direct contact at hello@czaban.dev. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Budapest, Hungary.

If you are an EU consumer, you may also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable. All other provisions remain in full force and effect.
